Incorporating California’s Environmental Principles and Concepts This session analyzes how California recognizes the deep relationship between the natural world and humans, and how teachers are already applying EP&Cs in the classroom today. These “big ideas” around Environmental Education are intended to inform standards-based instruction and fuel student inquiry. Teachers can support environmental literacy by helping students to understand and apply the EP&Cs across academic disciplines and in the real world.
