Force - Motion, Energy and Momentum! (Preschool - K)
Preschool, Transition and Kindergarten teachers: Come roll marbles, bouncy balls, and pingpong balls down ramps and then swing small pendulums to experience and learn about motion, energy and momentum! Class set of materials given for each participant.

During this presentation we will cover a fun, interactive lesson about density. We will cover C-E-R question strategies, inquiry based learning, and adaptations for students of different grades from 2nd to 8th grade. Overall, throughout this hands-on presentation you will see many strategies to make science more engaging for students.

Windsocks: Discovering The Force of Wind TK - 1st
In this presentation we will discuss how to teach the concept of wind and wind energy. Windsocks will help students understand the force of wind using a colorful art project. This project encourages students to be creative. It is also a make and take; participants will be able to take their windsock example at the end of the session.
